The world is at my fingertips!
Wow, I can not believe how much technology has to offer. Everything is at the touch of a finger. I did not know how much google had to offer. It is like a whole new world on my computer. Hours of entertainment and procrastination await me now that I have downloaded all the games. It is becoming more obvious as to how useful technology can be in the classroom. For every skill you teach, there is a game or website to reinforce the skills that they were just taught. My biggest fear is how far is this going to go. We are at a stage in our lives right now that everything is just a click away, so what is left? I know that many of my students know much more about technology then I, so how am I suppose to prevent them from getting into things they are not suppose to when I don't know how to access them myself? It is like a whole other world that is so easy to get to, but so dangerous if used the wrong way. I am impressed and worried all at the same time.

You know sometimes we are afraid of how much we rely on computers. I think it would be fun to take a day in the classroom to do school without technology. This way the students can see how much we rely on technology but also to see how it is possible to survive without it (it's just a much larger challenge). I can just see a blog brewing in my mind over this..
